Week 2 Recap: Undercarriage & Suspension

Last week the Mustang got quite a few more ponies under the hood thanks to an Edelbrock Supercharger! The next step was to upgrade the exhaust, suspension, stopping power and body strength to get the most out of our new-found power.

The 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brakes came from Wilwood Brakes and is the same set-up the Shelby GT350 runs. The white calipers on black rotors is definitely a hot touch. Suspension components were courtesy of H&R Springs and Whiteline USA while the ladies from Magnaflow arrived to give the Mustang some serious sound with a cat-back exhaust system. They had the exhaust switch complete in less than 30 minutes!

But perhaps one of the most memorable events was a visit from Vic Edelbrock himself who hung out with the team and signed the supercharger.

This week’s team was led by Mollie Lewis, owner of All In the Wrist Auto and Diesel Repair along with a number of certifications under her belt as well as 25 years in the repair industry. Joining her were women from all corners of the industry including Susan Carpenter, Rebeca Olavarietta-Roco, Kelly Martin, Liz Miles, and S. Kellie Colf.
